Senior Band at Cheltenham
Our Senior band competed at the National Brass Band Finals in September in Cheltenham. We competed against 19 other bands in the third section who were from all over the Country and had qualified in their heats last March. We were delighted that we were placed 4th and also our Principal Euphonium player Adrian Harrison was given the most outstanding soloist of the section. Thanks to John our Musical Director for all his work in preparing the band with the set piece The Shipbuilders composed by Peter York. Thanks also to Derek Broadbent for giving his time to advise both John and the band. 2025 sees the band promoted to the second section.
Wibsey Methodist Church Remembrance Concert
The senior band will be presenting an afternoon concert for the Remembrance weekend at Wibsey Methodist Church on Saturday 9th November starting at 2.00pm Everyone is welcome. There will be a tea afterwards where you can get together for a chat.

B Band to perform at St Matthews Northowram
Our B Band will be performing at St Matthews Church Northowram with the Northowram Singers on Saturday 29th June at 7.30pm The concert has a free entry with a retiring collection at the end for Overgate Hospice and the Church.
Spring Serenade a success
Our recent Spring Serenade at St Martins Church Brighouse on the afternoon of 27th April was a huge success. The concert was very well attended and both bands provided popular music thoughout the afternoon. We had a retiring collection after the concert to support both the band fund and Overgate Hospice and we are delighted that this raised £500 of which £250 has been forwarded to Overgate. Thank you to everyone who supported the concert and to the band for providing the wonderful music.
Become a Patron
The cost of running a brass band as any local organisation can be very expensive. The band relies on the generous donations from our Patrons and supporters throughout the year.
For £20 (or more) per year you receive our newsletters and two tickets to our annual concert which is usually held in September.

125 Club
Our 125 Club is a valuable way for the band to raise funds on a regular basis, numbers are 25p each and one is drawn weekly giving a £5.00 prize to the lucky winner. Additional prizes of £50.00 are drawn at Christmas, Easter and August.
